Privacy policy
This site processes personal data in two cases: when you write to me through the contact form and, only if you accept, when it measures visits with Google Analytics. It uses no advertising cookies.
Controller and site owner
Daniel Galán Triguero. Contact: me@danielgalan.dev.
What data and why
If you write to me through the contact form, I process your name, your email, your message, the site language and the date, only to reply to you.
The site stores nothing: the message is sent as an email to my inbox and only exists there.
Legal basis
Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.
How long
I keep the email for 12 months after our last contact and then delete it.
Who else is involved
Brevo sends the form’s email and Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Both act as processors under a signed data processing agreement.
Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards the GDPR requires (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
Cookies and analytics
To see which pages get read I use Google Analytics 4, from Google Ireland Limited. It only loads if you accept it in the cookie notice; if you reject it, nothing from Google loads.
If you accept, it sets two cookies: _ga, which tells visitors apart anonymously, and _ga_EMY36MH3BD, which keeps the session state. Both last up to 2 years. Google receives data such as pages viewed, browser, device and approximate location, and may process it in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is your consent. You can change your choice at any time with the button below; if you withdraw it, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.
Your choice is kept in your browser (local storage), not in a cookie.
On the contact page, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that whoever sends the form is not a bot. It is strictly necessary to stop spam and is used for nothing else.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability of your data by writing to me@danielgalan.dev.
If you think I have not handled them properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
